Frequently asked questions
- Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
- No. Form filling happens entirely inside your browser. Your files never leave your device.
- What kinds of fields are supported?
- Standard AcroForm fields: text fields, checkboxes, dropdowns, and radio groups. Multi-select lists and XFA (dynamic XML) forms are not supported.
- What does 'flatten form' do?
- Flattening bakes your answers into the page as permanent text and graphics. The fields can no longer be edited afterwards — useful for a final copy.
- My PDF shows no fields. Why?
- The PDF probably isn't a fillable form, or it uses XFA technology. Only standard fillable (AcroForm) PDFs are supported.
- Is there a file size limit?
- Each PDF can be up to 50 MB. Processing happens on your device, so very large documents depend on your device's memory.
