Frequently asked questions

Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
No. ToolSahara splits your PDF entirely inside your browser using local processing. Your files never leave your device, and nothing is stored or transmitted anywhere.
How do page ranges work?
Type page numbers separated by commas, using a dash for a span — for example, 1-3, 5, 8-10 gives you three files: pages 1–3, page 5, and pages 8–10. Page numbers start at 1.
Can ranges overlap or repeat pages?
Yes. Each range is extracted independently, so the same page can appear in multiple output files if you list it more than once.
Is there a file size limit?
Each PDF can be up to 50 MB. Splitting happens on your device, so very large documents depend on your device's memory — if it stalls, try smaller ranges.
Do split pages keep their original quality?
Yes. Splitting copies the original pages into new files, so every page keeps its exact size, orientation, and quality. Nothing is re-rendered.
